Our Story
After my first daughter was born in 2004, I saw a need for a new kind of children’s store — one that offered stylish yet timeless clothing and thoughtfully curated accessories all in one place. Parents and gift-givers wanted more than online scrolling or big-box basics. They wanted a destination. That vision became My Urban Toddler.
As an Ann Arbor native, mom of four, and someone who has worked in both architecture and acting, I bring a unique perspective to children’s retail. For me, it’s about more than clothes — it’s about celebrating childhood in style and creating a space where families feel seen and cared for.
Every piece we carry has a story: the designer who imagined it, the inventor who made daily life easier, or the trusted rep who introduced it to me. My hope is that these stories fold into your own as you raise your children and create lasting memories.
Whether you shop with us in Ann Arbor or online, know that every detail is chosen with a spirit of curiosity, care, and love. Thank you for allowing us to be part of your parenting journey.
With gratitude,
Rosa Lee
